Was like a breezy spring morning...

Only -18 degrees this morning on my run. It was really nice out!! Managed an hour and 10 minutes...20 minutes longer than what the training plan outlined but I do have a half marathon in one week. Felt like I could run another hour!!! This is a good sign...right Jen? Anyway, my pace was slow at an average 10:50 minute miles according to Garmin...not exactly swift. Felt like I was tip toeing through the new snow, doing that side to side, jump run trying to land in others footprints. But felt really good. Going to try to get up and out for the same tomorrow morning before we head to Edmonton. I am meeting with a client to settle up her dad's estate so thought that since work is paying for gas and hotel, might as well take the family! Kind of a sad story, the dad was apparently a mean bugger...beat his wife and kids etc. That is strictly rumour so...but from a pretty good source. He was a very wealthy man but got very ill about 15 years ago and has lived in a full care home since then. The Universe, boys and girls, The Universe is always watching...
