I had sent Justin an e-mail after my run on Saturday...it was a bit panicked as in "Oh my gosh...what have I signed up for? I have to run THAT distance AFTER biking for 90km!!" Holy shoot! This is what he sent me yesterday:
Kelly,
I think you did great and that with a few more long runs (and bikes) thrown into the mix, you will do much much better on your runs and with longer triathlons.
Don't worry!!! You'll be ready when the time comes. You will have more miles in your legs, the weather will be warm and the days long and everything else will all come together for some great races on your part.
Cheers,
Justin
Whew!!!!

You had a great run on the weekend. And you're going to be good about the training, so you'll be ready to rock and roll on race day. Long time to go yet.
Kelly - i know you'll do a great job. I also know you'll be a weepy mess when you achieve what you have been working for. It's yours...you just hae to go and get it (by swimming 2k, riding 90k, and running 21.1k) NO problem!!!
Okay...but you know me...worry, worry, worry...has to be perfect...blah blah...I caught myself straightening the sugar packets at lunch the other day...do you think i have a problem? AND a little secret...yup, I started to cry just as I rounded the Bez on Saturday!! Couldn't help it.
lol...Kelly Kelly Kelly .... I tell my son all the time PERFECT IS BORING!! PERFECT is no fun!! We both know more satisfaction comes from kicking obstacles in the ass and pushing past it all to finish despite whatever is tossed your way (however, on that note, a perfect race once in a while would be nice ....)
