This is why I blog...

I had a lazy, super lazy weekend. I did nothing. Okay, I ran for 30 minutes on Saturday but after that, the most strenuous thing I did was jump up off the couch and yell at the television when that receiver CAUGHT the ball AFTER Manning was supposed to go down in a QB sack...pretty bad, I know. (But seriously, look up the highlight as the athletism and WILL of that player is truly incredible!!) So this morning I am reading my fave blogs, you know who you are cause I comment on your efforts...and I don't want to be lazy anymore!! AND I got a phone call (a PHONE CALL...not an e-mail, not a text message) from a tri-friend wondering where I was at swimming on Sunday. Good thing I have some people looking out for me as there is no way I could do this all by myself. A big fat OOPS. But I am now ready to get back at it again. So a run tomorrow for an hour, swim on Wed morning, bike ride Wed night, bike maintenance course Thurs night...and that is all I have looked at so far. And what does a girl do when she is feeling like she needs some motivation? That's right, she goes SHOPPING!! New goggles, new bathing suit, new running bras, new socks and a new neck warmer. Here we go...

I just paid my frigging Mastercard or I'd come shopping too...lol I am looking forward to the bike class :) And you are right - I'll fool around with you (tee hee) and not let my ego make me want to run fast!! Somethign about a rabbit and a turtle comes to mind right ...slow and steady....
