Well, I am being forced to buy a vehicle. My sister called last night as apparently word has spread about my dilemna. I was hoping for the sisterly "Don't worry, everything will be okay, let's open a bottle of wine and drink while we are on the phone." But NO...I get "THANK GOD!! I have money on when that car would break down!!" A bit of background...I was straight out of university. Working 3 jobs back in the early 90s when there were NO JOBS here. I saved and saved and saved for this car. I have not been in the car market for 15 years...I love "The Cav"!! I even considered putting racing stripes on it once...anyway, I am now shopping for a vehicle...will keep you updated.
Training...I was up to go for a run today but darn it, the weather is the shits! Tomorrow is supposed to be warmed up as is Saturday. So I promise to get my runs in before we leave for Edmonton. And I am thinking i am going to have to pull a half marathon out of my a** next weekend...somehow...I am going to be a back of the packer on the 23rd...and proud of it!!
Our lives are inspired by the dreams we have from the earliest stages of our youth. When you combine passion and hard work, then success is always possible. While no road is every straight, dedication and persistence will always lead you to your dreams.

Buy a Honda. My 83 Accord hatchback lasted more than 13 years and more than 400,000 Km. Current Accord is 4 years and 120,000 K, no issues.
Yes they are $$$, but the reliability is worth it.
