stuff

My life is kinda unbloggable right now. Super busy with life stuff like this:

• Got on my bike today. Had a pretty solid workout. Haven't been able to run in the mornings cause Shaun has a huge job on the go and is out the door super early in the mornings. If all goes well, he will be done next week, we will get paid and have a very nice Christmas. Oh the joys of having a small business...
• Matthew passed his latest stripe test. He was invited now to test for his first belt. I understand none of it. I just bring him to the studio when I am told.
• I missed THE Christmas party of the year last night. Why? Because I was tired and Shaun was working and I didn't feel like getting all glittery and finding a baby sitter.
• However, there is a triathlon Christmas party this weekend that I am going to try to get to. Hopefully someone there will want to talk about stuff other than triathlons but I doubt it.
• I am going for lunch today with CC. Yeah. Gonna get the goods on what the hell is going on and come up with a plan. Maybe.
• I am slowly kicking my sugar addiction. This is day number 6 of not bending to my sweet tooth. I am super proud of myself!! This has taken the most effort. I read this thing about how sugar is as hard to beat as smoking or alcohol. Really? Smoking? Alcohol? And I am down 3 pounds....go figure.
• I read my husband the riot act yesterday. He is a workaholic and very often misses Matthew's events. Luke is only two and has no events yet. We had a parent teacher conference yesterday that was cancelled due to the teacher being ill. I called Shaun to let him know. He says "Wow, I must have an angel on my shoulder because it was looking like I wasn't going to make it" Again, the joys of small business ownership... So I say "The angel, was he cute?" Shaun says "Actually, she works for Victoria Secret."
