boo Riders...

Rider Nation is grumpy today. Our team is out. I didn't watch the game but heard all about it today at swimming. eek.
But what does a wanna be triathlete like me do before swimming, cause I promised Coach Justin I would do ALL my bike workouts in November, and missed one last week because I thought my head was exploding, that's right, I jump on the yellow cervelo for about an hour! Good thing all we are really doing this time of year at swimming is drills, drills and still some more drills, because my legs were tired and I dragged them behind me the entire swim. But was a good swim, mostly because I managed to get the workout in AND visited with several people...shared the top lane with only one other fella, pool was super quiet today. We did my fave drill which is a distance per stroke drill. You breathe every 3 for a 50 and then every 5 for a 50 for a total of 400 meters. I like this one because it makes you stretch out your stroke and concentrate on your breathing. Breathe out nice and slow under the water, don't hold your breath, I have a habit of this. All in all we swam about 3000 meters, so that one as well as the bike ride are in the tank!
