down...and out

So, after a pretty good run Saturday am...my weekend went to shit. I started feeling a bit "funny" mid-Saturday afternoon. I attributed the aching in my back and chest to my push-ups. My Grandma called around supper time and was in a panic because she needed her prescription filled...before 6:00...so off I go to pick her up and take her to the local pharmacy. We decide to have a bite to eat while we are out and I just could not get comfortable while waiting for supper...my chest kept seizing up and every time I moved my back would say "F-YOU!!" It was kind of funny as the two of us literally hobbled our way to the car after supper...she being 94 years old and me with a super sore back! When I finally got home, I found a hot bath and the couch and just could not sit, lie down, nothing was comfortable. Went to bed super early but tossed and turned and ached in my chest all friggin night!! Came up with all sorts of different sleeping positions to try to get comfortable but nothing worked. Weird. Spent the entire day, yesterday between the couch and bed. Wasn't a flu or a cold, just a weird tightening in my chest that literally would knock the wind out of me. This happened to me once before when I was pregnant and of course I would not take any painkillers then, but was popping them like candy yesterday!
Anyway, had a much better sleep last night. Still stiff and sore today but not anywhere near what I was feeling yesterday. As for training, me thinks I will be on a bit of a break for a few days...
