friday, friday

This is something I would do (ignore the political stuff...):

Was supposed to get on my bike today. But apparently that cheezy episode of Law and Order last night was WAY more important cause I sat up and watched it. To bed too late. However, sometimes I just need to turn my brain OFF and sit still for an hour or so and this does not happen until after kids are in bed, laundry is done, lunches packed, grocery list made, toys tidied up, to do list made for the next day, dishes done....I think you get my point. And I was super restless all night thinking, worrying, stressing about these crazed financial markets. wtf?
BUT....I did run yesterday. It was poopy run. My legs were heavy and I could not find "the groove". The workout was 30 minutes in my steady state heart rate and I was calling Gary Garmin an a-hole at about minute 19 to hurry up and get to 30!!
Probably a good thing I did not get on my bike today as I think I am going to head out for a run with tri-buddy Shannon tomorrow (...Boston qualifier, coached by Nick White, same coach as Craig Alexander...THAT tri-buddy...) Funny how she does all the talking when we run together...
