an okay run

Up early today to get my Saturday run in. This is what I did:
I ran and I ran and I ran and I ran and I ran somemore and then you know...I kept running, for about 55 minutes. All around the bridges. Listening to my iPod. About half way, at the Circle Drive bridge, I was starting to feel like NOT running. So I counted the bridges down....the train bridge, the 25th Street Bridge, the Broadway Bridge, the Victoria Bridge....I saw the Roastery and it was calling my name...so I did not make it to the freeway bridge.
Went into the Roastery and grabbed a coffee and came home. So, an okay run, was purposely late so I wouldn't be tempted to run with the boys that show up. They are just too fast and sometimes not that *interesting*...if you know what I mean...unless of course we are talking about triathlons which is ALL they usually talk about...just not much in common with any of them...I need to convince some medium speed, mom's who are trying to juggle careers, family and training to come out on Saturday mornings...if you are one of those people, let me know...so opted to run by myself and enjoy the sun coming up over the prairies.
