the sights and workouts of my christmas
Some of my favorite pics from the last few days:
Wrestling in front of the Christmas tree...why not?
Me and the cubs. The Ironman wristwatch was a nice fashion touch, don't you think?
My outdoorsman...the child would live outside if I let him.
We bought them play wear for Christmas. A pirate and a king. They LOVED the costumes!!
On the training side of things...got a solid bike ride in on Boxing Day. Man I sweat on that bike!! A run yesterday which was a tough go. Had got some grips for my shoes for Christmas so wanted to try them out. Ran too far from home, turned around and nearly froze on the way back. EEK!! The cords to my iPod froze and I was not dressed nearly warm enough. Bad me, I know better than that!! Today had a rock star run...in the snow storm...from my lesson yesterday, did the first half INTO the snow and then cruised home. Felt really good, and the weather had warmed up considerably from the last few days so was a nice morning out. Gary Garmin told me it was super slow but I was hurdling snow banks so wasn't too worried about the pace.
