1. I did not understand what love was until I had my children. To love someone unconditionally, no strings, no matter what...I did not understand what this meant. To see their precious little faces every day, I nearly start to cry.
2. I dislike it when people say "It must be so hard to be a working mom!" Nope. I love my work. I am very lucky to have a super flexible job. I have never been very good at having my world center around someone else's. Not even my kids. Which brings me to...
3. I often feel very guilty about not being built like my mom was, super nurturing, over the top maternal, stay at home mom who baked, cooked, crafty, sewed...bleh. That stuff is just NOT in me!!
4. I know, I know...everyone has heard this one...but we were in a very bad car vs train accident when I was a kid. There had been 4 other people who had died a that very crossing that summer. I think about it sometimes when life gets hard and darn it, I was left here for a reason! So suck it up and make the most of it!
5. I think there is just no beating McDonald's french fries. But only when they are hot.
6. If I could meet three people (alive or dead) they would be: Winston Churchill; Alex Bauman and Robert Downey Jr (omg I have such a crush on him....)
7. Recently, I put the following songs on my iPod: "Let's go Crazy!" and "Rasberry Beret" - Prince. I mean...why not??
