got a swim in

Got to my Sunday swim. I am really not liking all the drills and friggin IM we are doing on Sunday swims. I kind of just want to swim. I am not sure how breaststroke drill is going to help me in my triathlon swims this coming summer. And a big kick set...which I don't mind cause I can kick, but you shoulda heard the whining!! I think the coach's thinking is get the meters in with some busy work as it is just December, the fun stuff will come after the new year.
I was swimming in Lane 7 and at one point pushed off the wall and one of my toe nails was falling off!! So did 50 meters with a toe nail dangling off my toe. Then I wasn't sure what to do, do I take it off and put it on the deck? Do I just let it fall off into the water? Do I jump out and go to the washroom and put it in the garbage? As I was coming into the wall, CoryF, who apparently has a thing for my feet as he grabbed them and yanked me back to get into the wall before me...but he took the toe nail off at the same time!! Guess I didn't have to worry about it afterall...
