Our lives are inspired by the dreams we have from the earliest stages of our youth. When you combine passion and hard work, then success is always possible. While no road is every straight, dedication and persistence will always lead you to your dreams.

Monday Rest Day
But not really, when the daycare is closed and I am at home with the cubs!! And their cousins are coming over today...4 little boys in one house. Help!! Took them to the pool yesterday and we climbed the stairs to the waterslide about 100 times...that counts as crosstraining. Looking at my schedule this week I am thinking "What do I do with all this time?" I know...get a handle on my diet. Because I am not happy with it currently...and kind of an important part of this triathlon goal. My number has not changed in 2 weeks...153. It has fluctuated all over the friggin scale but never lower than 153. Annoyed. Maybe that is just where I am supposed to be? But I could eat better....way better. So that is my goal this week, to try to get some sort of plan in place for my diet. And drink more water. And finish my book for the book club meeting this Thursday..."The Memory Keepers Daughter". I am about half way done and I have enjoyed it so far.

Ah yes, rest day for me too - with my cubs at home....I am off all week with my cubs but they have horse camp - CLEVER ME!! I know, me working on food too... Sometimes i get so hungry - I think it comes down to having the fridge stocked with the right kinds of food :) cause if there is chocolate in the house...me finds it!!!
and i sure hope we find some more interesting rides round here:) Like with hills!!
It is hard playing around with your diet -- because habits are hard to break. I think it is the small changes that count. I remember I read a quote that said something along the lines of -- if you want the same results keep doing what you are doing, if you want to change,do something different. That has stuck with me and helps keep me on the right track, because EVERYONE can improve their nutrition, eh? Have fun with all those little boys!! :) :)
