Freakin awesome swim

Well, it does feel good to get a great workout in now and again! Today at the pool there was just me and JeffH in lane 8. Jeff has qualified for World's in Vancouver this June...he is very fast! He came today in his Team Canada tri-suit to see how it feels. One of those things were it looks better on television but kind of goofy on a Sunday morning at our lane swim!! But all the best to him as he is very focused on this competition coming up. Anyway, we did a set of 200 meters with 15 seconds rest in between each. We held 2:50 - 2:55 for all of them!! I was very happy with this! The last couple I was fading but managed to pull them off anyway. Had to use my secret weapon...my kick... And this with a tired body and tired legs. Looking forward to a recovery week as I have never had one before. I think I will be good at recovery...
