Rest days are the best days

Another rest day today. Whoop! But I can't sleep so here I am fooling around on the computer and writing on the blog. I did not get out to my cycling class last night...WHAT? You say? Nope. Trying to get out of work on time, and picking up kids and getting them fed and getting the husband home on time....is just too much somedays. BUT...I did the workout at home. A warm up and then 2 sets of 4 intervals of 4 minutes in zone 3 and two minutes in zone 2. My legs are super tired today. Not really all that sore, just tired. JP's words of advice have rang through my head this week...you have to get your body used to working when its tired. We do block workouts (rather than brick workouts for right now). So a couple of hard workouts over a couple of days and then a rest day. Which is today! And then another bike tomorrow, a hard run on Saturday and swim on Sunday, then Monday is another rest day.
