Multi-tasking
Got up early today as I had to get my bike workout in. The workout was 4 sets of the muscle tension drill for 6 minutes with 4 minutes easy riding in between. Then 3 sets of fast pedalling for 2 minutes and 2 minutes easy. A couple of the easy riding intervals, I actually jumped off my bike to put laundry in the washer and dryer....you do what ya gotta do to get it all done! But it went good, I think I saw a muscle in my leg the other day...I kid you not...I was at the pool and happened to catch a glimpse of myself and yup, there was a muscle there!! It was very exciting. Going for a run tomorrow with the gang at 7:00am. I am actually nervous about this!! I will for sure be the slowest runner there..BY FAR!! I am seriously considering getting up early and WARMING UP!! But I guess in order to run faster you have to run faster. Just going to meet some folks and maybe have breakfast and coffee with them later...pick their brains about triathlon stuff...
