Kindergarten

That's right....I have registered Matthew in Kindergarten. This makes me sad. But a happy sad. Happy because he is a vibrant, healthy, inquisitive, full of energy, little kid. But sad because he is growing up so fast. I dragged myself....and I mean dragged...myself to the registration night last night. Sat at the back hacking and sniffling away. The things you do for your children... He is registered in a school that specializes in fine arts and it is a Catholic school.........aaaaaaaaaand, my dad has read this and just fainted!! It is apparently a very good school with an amazing reputation. We don't talk/do much with religion etc. in our house, so it can't hurt that he learns that stuff somewhere...right? I wonder if they will let him wear his skull and cross bone hat there...? Just a thought. Anyway, no training done whatsoever the last two days. I am not feeling well at all. Don't plan on doing anything for another couple of days...I am one of those people that just needs to cool it and recover completely. So, here's to a few days off and getting healthy again!!

Now I don't feel guilty about sluffing off. I was outside yesterday in -tooeffingcold changing a car tire, and was still cold when I got home. I'm still needing a rest, I guess. I'm glad I'm not the only one.
