And that is what I did off the bottom of the pool at swimming today. Woke up, showed up but the workout was a bunch of drills and stuff and even some backstroke and breaststroke...? Sorry, but those triathletes just cannot do any other stroke but the free style! Did not really get into it but it was good to hit the water and stretch things out. Going to get on my bike tonight...seriously! I missed yesterday so on it I must go. JP sent me an e-mail this week "Are you ready to pump it up a bit?" Good lord...
I have invited a local radio person to read this blog as he is signed up for the Frank Dunn race as well. I don't actually know him personally but hear alot about him and his training through some mutual friends. He also speaks a bunch about his two sons on the radio and I love it as, of course, I have two boys and it is just fun listening to someone else who is trying to raise a couple of boys into good men. He talks about his training on the radio a bit and it is absolutely hilarious!! He says he is already at 100 meters for swimming so how hard can 1500 meters be...? Should I tell him about the time I did that swim when it was plus 3 degrees, and the lake was very rough with whitecaps and I had to wait for the crests of the waves in order to breathe? Thank-god I was on a relay that year and headed back to the hotel after my swim for a hot breakfast and a hot shower!!

lol...Kelly - I did sculling at practice last night - did we ever do that when we were little? I can remember nuthin!!
As for the local radio dude - how much water can he really hold in his nose? I think someone should point out he can OPT to close his throat, and then it won't all end up in his stomache!! When i heard he had successfully done 100 m I started praying that it would be calm warm day come Frank Dunn :) Wasn't it snowing last year? LOL
So - are you ready to pump it up a bit? LOL I am focusing on my running a bit until the hypo half is done - and by golly, it's a treat!!
