i bailed on my run today

Sigh.
Not very often does this happen when I just stop running and head home. But today was one of those days. I managed 32 minutes and I wasn't too far from home because I was kinda sensing the crappiness of the run so stayed close...stopped...and walked 15 minutes to home.
Blah.
Hadn't slept all night. Tossed and turned and got up and wandered around the house and tried again to sleep. No luck. I don't even feel really bad about bailing so it was the right decision!
In other news...had lunch with my Frank Dunn team mates yesterday. That? Is gonna be a fun day! Fun because I will be done by around 8:30am for the day...at a breakfast table with a heap of pancakes by about 9:00am. Love team work!! Coach Justin told me a few weeks ago I should take some gear and do either the bike course or the run course after my swim...hopefully it is great day weather wise cause I see myself on a blanket in the park watching the action from afar.
Don't have much else to say triathlon wise...the last few days we have been welcoming the terrible threes into our home. Oh...my...God...what is with the attitude? He was sent to his room last night for hitting and being overall a b*r*a*t. He did not like being sent to his room so he took all of the bedding off of the beds and threw it on the floor and then stomped on it...oh yeah. He has been quite the little challenge. One of those things where I want him to have all of the attributes that will help through life...stubborn, tenacious, gutsy, tough, plenty of self esteem etc...but the tricky part is to channel it and teach him how to use it most effectively. But really, what the hell do I know...

I agree with you, the workouts you bail on and don't feel guilty about are the ones you probably should bail on anyways.

We all have to bail at some point and time, at least you went out and tried it first.......just wondering did he sleep on the floor?
