Rest day today.
I love the hockey playoffs. The only time I will sit on my arse in front of a television for extended periods of time. We are into the second round..bye bye Calgary!! buh bye Sharks!! I know some of you reading this live in Calgary but I cannot stand Keenan...so I will be a Calgary fan again when he is GONE. We are huge Detroit fans. As in huge. Both my kids sport Red Wings gear, we have serving platters with the logo on them, Shaun has Red Wing golf covers for his clubs, we have a pic of Yzerman hanging in our basement, someone even bought us a toilet seat with Detroit all over it!! I know tacky, it was supposed to be a joke but it didn't fit our downstairs bathroom or else we probably would have used it...I kid you not. My spouse OWNS a signed Yzerman rookie card...it is in our safety deposit box with our friggin wills....GO DETROIT!!! And to add fuel to the fire, I really, really do not like Pronger with the Ducks...OMG die Pronger, DIE!!!! Can't wait until he gets checked into the boards the first time...and wtf is with that goalie for the Ducks? Weird. Is he psychotic? Some serious mental issues happening right there...if you don't follow hockey, take the 2 minutes one night and watch him during the national anthems...that is crazy with a side of crazy!!!

Well...after that little tirade against Calgary it looks like I can't read your blog anymore...nope!
When I played Junior B & Senior hockey back in Newfoundland, Neil Cleary (Daniel Cleary's brother) was my line mate. Dan came back to watch us in the playoffs one year after this Belleville Bulls were put out of the OHL playoffs. He was handing easton hockey blades with his name stamped on it...nice kid.

GO DETROIT! Yes! I knew I liked you. :) I have Steve Yzerman's autograph twice from when I was a kid. Love him, and the Wings!
Hahahahaha! I would LOVE to go to a game with you. I think I would have more fun watching you than watching the game! :) :)
