big weekend training plans
Biggest so far. 2.5 hour bike ride tomorrow. A swim and a run on Sunday. Hopefully I feel good...have been in bed sick for the past two days. At work today but questionable. Missed my run yesterday as I was so sick. Did not do it today as I really wanted to get my bike ride in tomorrow and did not want to take the chance on getting ill again. Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate today!! Oh the joys of this training! Going to take Julie's advice and do this 2.5 hour ride in 30 minute spurts. Should help to break it down into a more manageable ride! And food...I have to think about the food I am going to take. And the weather is going to be awesome! A LOW of plus 8...a high of 18....whoo hoo!!!! Here comes the weekend!!

Kelly - when I did my almost 3 hour ride last weekend. I didn't find it hard to put in the time at all. Because I was outside and because I had a destination in mind, that helped me stay focused -I rode 32 kms in one direction and then turned around and then I was heading back home and always had something to work towards. riding outside is so much more effortless mentally for me....I so enjoy it :) If you want - I'll be taking off at noon from the drive in. I was going to go to Clavet and back (50km) and then to Aberdeen and back (50km). Kim G will be joining me for the first part of it....
Good luck on your next major breakthrough -- a nice big 2.5 hour bike ride!! Have a great time!! :) :)
Hey, have a great ride tomorrow!
