now i'm the hack...

Sure glad I got the bike ride in on Friday. Cause all I have done the past three days is eat, drink, sleep and eat some more. Took my running gear to the lake with good intentions, but I was SO lazy!! Oh my gosh!! But the funny thing is I do not feel bad about not running. I have been feeling like I totally needed to get my batteries re-charged the last few weeks and now they are good to go. Was supposed to do a "recovery run" this morning...a recovery from what should have been a relatively hard effort on the weekend, but it was more a recovery from and getting the booze and nachos and hot dogs and laziness out of my system!! But an hour run is still an hour run. This week is about only putting good thoughts and good food into my body for the half marathon this weekend. Don't know what to expect for a "goal time" I had an idea I would like to go under 2 hours but will see what is what come Sunday morning. The week as far as training goes is pretty light, so I am guessing my legs will feel like they are ready to rock (I seriously hope so)...and NOT like I have been on a bike for several hours the day before!! And my sun burn from wearing my new bike shorts is kind of funny...I officially have that goofy cycling tan...
