me the horses and the songbirds

Wow.
I actually really enjoyed my bike ride this morning...wow. I can totally see the attraction to cycling now. Woke up about 45 seconds before the alarm went off. It was 5:00am. Wanted to be out the door by 5:30 but it was cloudy and the sun wasn't quite up so it was kinda dark. Waited for about 20 minutes and then headed out the door. Rode out towards the casino and it was calm, a bit cool but what a feeling being out there literally all by myself!! I could hear the songbirds cheering for me but the horses were a bit skeptical. There was a bit of mist on the highway and it was really cool to ride through that. The workout was 4 times 5 minute time trial intervals with 4 minutes easy pedalling in between. I talked to Justin for an hour yesterday and was telling him about our dear CoryF and how he puked on his time trial intervals...I assured JP that would NOT be happening...if I puke it because I am sick or really drunk...so Justin said, okay, work as hard as I can, up until just one notch below barfing. Thanks.
Soccer game tonight but forcast is for rain. Do they play in rain? I kind of hope not...

Another early bird. I love getting out to do do my exercise first thing. And yes, soccer is played in the rain. Baseball players are the only weenies.

I take it the photo Jenn took is NOT up on the wall at work?

No...the pic is not up at work. There is a picture of me somewhere out there (I think my girlfriend has it and is saving it for my 40 b-day) but we decided to have a 70's party. I was wearing hot pink tights, white go-go boots and I had bought a god-awful pink paisly dress at value village. I cut the dress off so it was way too short and used the material to sew on bell bottoms on the pink tights. I had gone to the salon, had long hair at the time...my buddy did my hair up in a big blonde afro...we had had WAY too much to drink and were out at some club and we thought it would be funny to slide down the hand rail at the front of the bar. She went first and fell on her back...she had her camera and snapped a pic as I was coming down...looking over my shoulder, on my belly, feet FIRST, butt in the air...in pink tights!! Not a very attractive pose...
