Does a wind burn turn in to a sun tan? Cause you should see my face!! Holy Smokes!! I knew the wind was crazy here but did not appreciate how much until today. But got TWO and a HALF hours on my bike!! Milestone. Learned a TON today. No matter how warm it is in your back yard, always wear a bit warmer clothing on a bike ride out on the highway. Never leave a chocolate protein bar on the dash board. Just accept the fact that the wind is blowing you around, go to your happy place and pedal your heart out. Never take a pee break when Jenn has her camera with her. Don't give the car who leaned on their horn and scared the crap out of you, the finger...I thought afterwards, that probably was not a good idea. I am a mom, I should know better, always take some kleenex. Nobody out there cares that you are wearing your bronzing shimmer body lotion to hopefully enhance any tan you may be getting.
Anyway, was a good afternoon. THANK GOD Jenn and Kim were there, I am not sure I would have done that ride without them.
Next up is a swim in the morning and an hour and 20 minute run straight after. Let's see how my legs like that!!
