small update...
given my last post...read it first before you read the rest of this one...I got up this morning, looked up the Boston qualifying time for my age group and wanted to see if I could hold that pace for 30 minutes....Gary Garmin tells me my average pace was 5:43 for 30 minutes...now I just have to hold that (and a wee bit faster) for 3 hours and 45 minutes....no problem!!

yep again. its about building your ability to hold the pace for longer an dlonger duration. totally doable.
