Just another manic Monday

Had a crazy busy weekend...went to the Home Depot yesterday and took my 5 year old. At the check-out, he was watching the guy scan the stuff for the people in front of us. He pipes up and says "Mom, I want to buy my hand!!" I say "What?"
"I want to buy my hand. That's a good idea, right Mom? Let's put a sticker on it and see how much it costs"
I say, "Well, I really don't want to have to pay for it as it is coming with us no matter what."
Matthew: "But Mom, it would be fun to buy my hand! How much do you think it would cost?"
Mom: "Honey, it is priceless...there is no price for your hand."
Matthew: "Mom, let's find a sticker and see what it costs."
Mom, getting a bit impatient as I sometimes do not understand the logic of a 5 year old: "Sweetie, if we buy it and it does not work out, then we have to cut it off to return it to get our money back."
Silence.

Anyway, rest day today. Hard bike ride tomorrow....keep you posted!!
