fustated

That is how Luke says "frustrated". It is very cute when he says it but the feeling of being frustrated is crappy.
I had the worst run of my life on Saturday. One to measure all other bad runs. Started out with a sore throat and a sore ear and kind of grumpy. Warmed up for a few minutes and then did the first interval in the workout and was HORRIFIED at the pace I was keeping. Horrified. So what is a girl to do? She turns garmin off and just runs for the sake of running. It was a beautiful day but I could not shake my mood and I thought I could get it together but it just was not my day.
Sunday swim was kind of boooooorrrrring. I left early I was so bored. I had organized another swim clinic for the group with a local swim coach. He is great. I was just a bit perterbed that very few people came out.
Another run on Monday that was actually quite good. Just a steady hour and my legs felt good and my body felt good...was a very warm morning on top of it. AND the sun was coming up as I was finishing. hellooooooooooo spring!!!
Tuesday was a rest day and today I am Sick....again. what the fuck.
Why do I keep getting sick? I am so annoyed. I am supposed to be doing the Brainfreeze Half Marathon this weekend. I WILL register for this one as it is a fundraiser for the local cross country team...but I need to feel a whole lot better first. Crappy.
Our last hockey tourney in Allan, SK this weekend. Where is Allan, you ask? I have no idea. But we are there all day Saturday.....

I know! I know! Pick me!

South of Elstow, which is east of Clavet. Not far at all, actually.

What is it with people being sick??? I'm sick again too, but at least I don't have a race this weekend. Don't beat yourself up about a "bad" run, when you're sick. Think of it this way, most people can't run at all when they're sick.

I know you and Jenna are neighbors so maybe it's in the water. I hate that you guys are both sick. That sucks.

Good for you for turning your Garmin off. Even though you had a bad run you knew enough to turn off one negative influence. I would have continued to look at the bad times and would have grown increasingly more "fustated."

PS- glad we're FB friends. :)

fusteration sucks the big one. i know it well. if you arre not well enough to run we can at least eat the free lunch. I know I won't be running.

Get better! I would have come to swimming but I was in a neo citron induced coma.
