darn good swim

Today was Sunday swim day. Was a pretty good one. Some 200s some 400s some pull....all good. Was supposed to do a run yesterday. Friday night we went out for supper to Boston Pizza...I ordered water to drink and when it came I grabbed it and gulped about 3-4 big gulps into my mouth. The glass was half full of cleaning solution!! With a hint of bleach!! I just about puked right then and there. My guts went sideways...like real sideways...and ached most of the night. I tried to run as I felt better in the morning but about 30 minutes in, it was no good. I even had to call home for a ride.
And Boston Pizza did nothing for us. They even said that no one else had complained about the water so it must just be me!! Obviously I had asked for a new glass of water and the girl brought me the second glass....the same thing!! Only the third glass tasted normal. I talked to the manager and all he says is "sorry". Not that I expected anything and of course I am not going to ask for anything but jeepers...at least offer up a dessert or a voucher or something. I was totally grossed out for the remainder of the meal. And will likely never go back there.
BEWARE of the water at Boston Pizza!!!

That is so disgusting and absolutely unacceptable. You most definitely should have received something -- I am surprised you didn't! This would be a good case to write to the head office about...

We took Jake out to a Moxie's once. When he bit into his dessert he cut his tongue on a piece of glass. The manager started arguing with Mike that it wasn't the restaurant's fault -- that was NOT a good idea...LOL!

Yikes! That is not cool. Restaurants always need to apologize first, then ask how they can rectify the situation second. I think you're wise not to go back. And you should post it on facebook too to really show them who's boss :). Yucko!
