where did that week go...?

Friday already. Life has been busy. Busy at work in and out of meetings as one of our biggest funds lost its star manager and now we must replace him.
I am home today with Luke. My sidekick. He has not left my side all morning...so excited we are spending the day together! We have made a "smoodie", took Matthew to school, went for coffee, played with playdough and folded laundry. And it is not even 10 yet. We have plans for lunch, a trip to WalMart and the grocery store.
On the workout side of things...I did a run on Tuesday, just a short 30 minute jog. Took a couple of days off as work has been crazy with all the changes happening and my brain is exhausted at the end of the day. Was up at Waskesiu for the day with the boys from work hammering out some plans...they stayed, I came home last night as I wanted the day to get some stuff done. Hockey starts full on next week...I am so far LOVING the parents I have met!! We are Tier 3 hockey parents (yes...there were tryouts for 6 year olds...??)...no pressure, no aspirations to make the big leagues, just alot of fun!! They are fantastic people and I am looking forward to this year.
Today I was up early to get my bike workout in. I had the time so did an extra interval. I have been finding my way around the Training Peaks website and it is really good. There is SO much there...lots of videos and support and the nutrition side of things is super interesting. I am learning lots.
Sent Coach Justin my 2010 plans. We had a looooong talk this week. I have some lofty goals...so we shall see where the year takes us!! AND I finally signed up for the GWN Half Ironman....yep...I am good to go for July!!
