I totally forgot to post on Friday that I swam in the morning. About 2500 meters. Nothing fancy, just up and down the pool nice and long and steady.
Went up to the lake this weekend, so happy that I snuck that bike ride in on Thursday AND the swim in on Friday morning. Did nothing but lay around on the beach (yes THE BEACH!! It was THAT nice up there!!) and watch my kids in the water. They are cold blooded as I stuck my foot in and EEEOOOWWW!! Freezing cold. Today I got up, put on my running gear and headed out for a run. It was overcast and a little cool and garmin had a hard time figuring out where we were. Turned him off and just ran. Was really nice to run just for the sake of running and not continually look at my HR and my pace and the time etc. Went a route I had not been on before and holy cow the rolling hills!! That was a workout in itself. Up and down and up and down again...over and over and over for an entire hour or so. Felt amazing out there being "one with nature"!! So quiet and calm.
Missed a bike ride this weekend but looking forward, not too dissappointed as there is lots and lots of everything coming up and then the event on Sunday. HOLD ON WEATHER!!!

Sounds like you had a truly blissful time out with nature this weekend! I have been leaving my HR monitor at home more and more this year -- for bike rides and for running. I get annoyed with looking at it all the time too and just like being out there!
