29 days and counting...
Holy butterflies when I saw that this morning!! WhooHoo!! I am starting to feel good and ready. That bike ride last night was really good for my confidence...I got up to 42.6km/hour!! I was analysing garmin after my kids were in bed. Mind you that was WITH the wind, but still, who would have ever thought I could go that fast...ever...on a bike??!! Got up and went swimming today. Supposed to be my rest day but we are still about 50/50 on going to the lake. So needed to get that in before we go. Can do my run up there. Big, big week of training next week. Some really hard stuff that I am actually looking forward to!! A THREE and ONE HALF HOUR bike ride!!! And it doesn't even intimidate me. JP says I should try to do about 100km in that time. Let's hope for good weather. Then our Spin on Spadina Olympic distance race on Sunday. The plan is to do the 3.5 hour ride on Saturday and the race on Sunday. The goal is to practice transitions, and run a 10km with super tired legs. JP says these two days will go a long way to helping with the half ironman. We shall see what the day brings!
