My Subaru was stolen last night.
Out of our locked garage.
The shit heads who stole it broke the window, opened the big garage door, and drove it out into the alley. I am so super annoyed I could spit. I have no vehicle and have to rely on rides from everyone for a bit. Faaaaak....
The postives are these:
--My kids were so excited for the police officer to come to the house. Luke offered up crackers, grapes and juice. They got some super cool police stickers!!
--The police officer was super good looking in his little police uniform.
--The Subaru had less than a quarter tank of gas. Not much to get far.
--The officer said they will likely find it in the next few days, and it will likely be trashed...what the fuck...why??
Today has really sucked so far. And it is not even noon yet. I called my sister in Calgary and of course her great sense of humour made me laugh because she says "Well, at least it wasn't on a Monday, because that would have been REALLY shitty!!!"
On a lighter side of things...I heard a funny word the other day...dohment...One of those slap your forehead moments when you realise that you've just done something incredibly stupid.
Our lives are inspired by the dreams we have from the earliest stages of our youth. When you combine passion and hard work, then success is always possible. While no road is every straight, dedication and persistence will always lead you to your dreams.

What an effing hassle! Mike's car was stolen from in front of our house a few years ago. Kid made it al the way to go Grand Forks (!) before he got caught. Gas and dash at the Fas Gas there.
The car wasn't trashed too bad -- just a lot of greasy burger wrappers strewn all over the place, but what a pain in the butt!!
And from your locked garage too -- man, there is nothing you could have done.
Here's hoping the rest of your week just rocks!!! :) :)
Well that certainly sucks big time. Your insurance should provide for a rental. What really puts frost on the pumpkin is that even if they catch them, nothing will happen. Me - I'd paint them with seal oil and release them into the arctic outside Churchill during polar bear season, then film them from a helicopter. Real life Great Race!
WHAT!!! aww shit that sucks. Someone's broken into my car twice now, still haven't fixed the stearing column from the first time when they tried hot wiring and failed. I see it differently, wouldn't you hope they trash the car so you can write it off? Even though they may not "wreck" it rest assured they will drive the shit out of it. What happens down the road when you have motor/transmission problems because of how they drove it. You'd be paying for that. Sorry not trying to sound negative, just another view point. It happened to an uncle where he had to fix it later on because the damages weren't visable at first.
FAAAAAAK....that sucks. Hopefully your week improves!
FAAAAK!!! Lets get the bats out and hit the streets!!!
I will bring it back after IMC I promise!!
Jokes Kel, now that truly does suck ass!
too bad the theives didn't do a dohment and return the car. major bummer dude. just the thought of me losing my subaru has me in shivers. i will send good vibes and prayers that your car is returned not trashed. (i had a car stolen many many moons ago and they didn't trash it...so it's totally a possibility!)
