the quick and dirty

Was a GREAT week! Checked so many things off my life's to do list...
Saw Cape Cod.
Visited Newport, RI...highly recommended, by the way.
Ran the Boston Marathon!! This run did not go as I had hoped...around the 25km mark my right quad blew up on me...that course has some serious downhills and they sneak up on you and I was not ready for that...it felt like I had done no training at all!! So walked some, ran some and dragged that right leg with me for the remainder of the run...OMG the people!! THE PEOPLE!!! Despite my leg, this was a great, great day and will go down as one my top lifetime experiences.
Saw the Bruins in a playoff game. This? Was the highlight of the trip. Seriously. Those folks from Boston are crazy. CRAZY!!! It was NOT a family show...but so much FUN!!!
Saw the Red Sox play at Fenway stadium. More crazy fans!! This too was something else to see.
