Mark the calendar chicks and dudes...this is a pic of me sewing by hand Matthew's name bar on his hockey jersey. And yes...I own a sewing kit with all the shit in it necessary to do minor (and I repeat...minor) repair work. I could not think of anyone I knew that owned a sewing machine I could borrow and the tailor I use wanted a ridculous amount of money to sew name bars on the back of hockey jerseys so here I am doing it myself!! The things you never think you will see yourself doing....Shaun thought it was hilarious and took the picture...thanks hon!!
Sunday swim today. Was an okay swim. Some left early...ahem...not mentioning names here...but we did a bunch of treading water and kicking with our legs straight down and hands up in the air...yikes....those were tough!! So the meters weren't that many but with those kicks and a 700 meter straight pull at the end, my body knows I swam today. Off to the hockey rink for the afternoon so will likely miss the Rider football game. If we win, we go to the Grey Cup...for our american friends, Canada's version of the Super Bowl but nothing real "super" about it...we just have to have our own things up here!! And the fans in this province are crazy about our football team...it really is fun to see so many businesses and cars and people all decorated in green in support.

Crazy about your football team is a drastic understatement. I worked with a guy that was essentially unapproachable during football season, unless you were a FAN. Even by guy standards it got a little thick.

1. My name is Jenna and I LEFT kick class EARLY. That's ok as I cycled later too - and that wasn't on the books. Just was not in the mood anymore.... well I wasn't even when i got there, or before i left home, or before i got out of be.... you get the idea.
2. I have a sewing machine - borrow it anytime.
I would not call Sundays event a swim workout....It was a kick workout!!....Does this guy know anything other than kick drills???...if you found it hard what do you think a person that really can not tread water thought??..this guy is a clown!!...may help if he actually walked around a little to offer advise...so all that said what sundays is he not coaching so i know that we will actually be doing some swimming on those days!

I for one am glad that the sewing was documented-a testament to the phrase "never say never." I used to do those kicky things at swim practice too and YIKES, they ARE hard. Good luck to your football team!
Like Keith said -- CRAZY is not the word to describe Roughrider fans. HOLY $HIT!!! My sister moved to Saskatchewan and even she turned into a fan and she HATES football. Mike worked with a guy on the rigs with a full on body tattoo of the Roughriders...
I even remember that one year where the Roughriders were playing out east and there were more fans from Saskatchewan than there were from Ontario. LMAO!!!!
