Holy...I needed that this morning!! Up and at er at 5:00am. I feel my old self creeping back. I was so excited yesterday after talking to JP about Arizona! Jumped on my bike this morning and pedalled like I stole it. It was a beautiful day and it was a bit cool but once I got going, it was just right. Did all my intervals and felt really good. Got home and noticed my front tire was a bit flat. I don't know what to make of that dang tire. I am always putting air into it. And the pump I have, I am not convinced it works real well. Time for a shopping trip to the bike store. JP's advice, which frankly has been everyone else's advice as well but I didn't want to hear it, is to stay on that bike until the very last moment this fall before the snow flies. That will help things SO MUCH for next year.
Next up is a run tomorrow another bike ride Saturday and possibly a swim on Sunday. Kind of depends on how the weekend goes. Off to the lake next week with the munchkins. Really looking forward to getting out of town.

Go over that tire with a fine tooth comb -- Take it off and blow up the tube until it's like a big life-saver ring and then put it in a bath tub of water to see where the hole is. Get a little rag and run it slowly along the inside of your tire -- at the least snag or resistance, stop and see what is in there and pull it out.
I know the feeling of having the tire lose only a little air -- you think to yourself, "It's not really flat, maybe I'll just pump it up and it will be OK."
Believe me, a proper tire DOES NOT do this. Once inflated it stays inflated. So take off that tire and check it out. If you have problems, take it over to Jenna -- then at least you can stop her from drinking her face off and bug her to update her blog already!!! LOL!!
hey its UPDATED!!!!
