Sports are GOOD for kids.
And sometimes they need a little push or fire under their ass to get them going. And sometimes you have to let them fail and NOT make everything okay all of the time.

I very much agree with letting kids experience both the ups AND downs life has to offer. Because kids who only experience the ups turn into jerks. And the world certainly doesn't need more of those!
