totally off topic...

Having a huge dilema.
I bought my 20 year highschool reunion dress a few weeks ago. Let's just say it IS THE 20 year reunion dress...black, short, tight and low cut. Ohhhhhh...yeah!! However, I have been informed a couple of the peeps I was looking forward to being there are not going. I have no problem going by myself, BUT do I wear the dress?? Because we were all supposed to go together all dressed up. But now? OR do I wear this super cool shirt I found...it says..."I'm Kind Of A Big Deal"
OMG...I think THAT would be the most perfect thing to wear!! Would it not??
And I found a pair of kick-ass stilettos to wear with the dress but they did not have my size. Argh! But then don't know how I would fair in those after a couple of wobbly-pops...
What to do...what to do....
Got to my Wed swim today. Keith...I found your swim...it went on vacation with mine...holy could tell I have not been in the water for a few weeks. The coach even asked where I have been...nice to be missed!!

Wear the black dress!!! A 20 year union is a perfect excuse to get dressed up! The shirt is a cute idea, but a reunion like that only comes around once, why not go all out and have a good time? :) :) :)

(And we want pics!!!!)

Agree w/ Julie, wear the dress. Did you and Jenna go to HS together or no? Cause she just mention her reunion too.

Also agree w/ Julie on the pics too. :)

So, my swim was off consorting and hobnobbing with your swim? That's excellent news! Maybe it learned something. I can only hope...

High School reunion advice. Are you going because you're going to see old friends and have a good time, or are you going to rub it in that you're a winner and they are still losers? If the first, jeans and a t shirt is just fine. If the second, then the dress, and the stilleto's, with a sleek styled pro do. No big 80's hair, puhleeze. Rent some exquisite tasteful jewellry. If your husband will let you, also rent a decorative boy toy for the event. Arrive in a limo. (If you're going to do it, do it RIGHT!)

Now that you've digested that, just remember I'm a poor simple men who doesn't get out much. There is nothing that could compel me to go to a high school reunion. Nightmares are best left buried.

Amy...yes..Jenn and I did go to HS together. However she was one of the popular kids (cheerleader etc, admit it jenn...!!) and I um, well, was not!!
Keith...I am going to hang and visit with friends I have kept in touch with through the years. It is just an excuse to get together without our kids....
